Key findings

It concluded that nine out of ten people surveyed experienced some type of discrimination and/or hateful conduct on more than one occasion. One in four victims needed psychological and emotional support, with only 26% of them receiving it. The rest mostly stated that they had not received it due to lack of means. The study pointed out to the need to continue providing tools to respond it, since only 6.4% of victims of discrimination report it. It confirmed that discrimination based on Anti-Muslim hatred is often subtle and normalized and it explains the high percentage of people affected and the high rate of underreporting. It also concluded about the need to continue providing tools to respond to Anti-Muslim hatred.
